Multi-coloured Amethyst Necklace

Delicate Clarity

Amethyst is from the Quartz family and is generally associated with being purple.  Less well known is green Amethyst which achieves this colour when the gem is heat treated though there is a handful of mines around the world that claim to produce natural green amethyst.

The faceted gemstones used in this delicate necklace highlight the different hues of the gem and they are interspersed with clear seed beads to emphasis the clarity. The necklace is fastened with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.
