Mother of Pearl is the pure nacre from the inside of a mollusk shell and, as its name implies, is the material which clings to an irritant in the shell to form a pearl. Isn’t nature clever! These earrings have a wonderful golden lustre with purple hues and are set onto a gold tone chain link and gold-plated sterling silver shepherd hooks. They are substantial in look but light to wear.
