Amethyst and Silver Station Necklace

Amethyst comes in many different guises; this very pretty necklace comprises a beautiful faceted banded Amethyst drop which looks as though it has been dipped into a vat of purple dye so that you get the deepest colour at the base and it remains lighter, almost white, at the top.  The stone is then enhanced with tiny faceted rounds which twinkle in the light and then hang from a hammered 925 sterling silver ‘paper-clip’ chain.  Further banded Amethyst round beads rest on the collar bone and create a very simple to wear necklace which is as good with a summer dress as it is to dress up an elegant evening gown.
