JEWELLERY

Colour Reproduction

We have made every effort to reproduce the colours on the site as accurately as possible but please remember that your equipment may reproduce colours in different ways and therefore exact matches are not always possible. This may mean that when you receive your order the colours may differ from what you see on your screen. Also, freshwater pearls and genuine gemstones are not man-made which means that they are all individual in colour and size – making your piece of jewellery unique!  

Postage and Packaging

All jewellery purchases are sent in organza bags as standard and packaged in padded envelopes or boxes.   In the interests of ‘conservation’ and ‘recycling’ we may occasionally send your package in pre-used packaging.

UK orders are sent using Royal Mail and charged at £3.95 per order for postage and packing.

UK orders with a value of over £100.00 will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery at no extra charge.

If you live outside the UK your package will be sent by International Tracked and Signed service using Royal Mail Zones:

Europe up to 250g £8.96

World Zone 1 up to 250g £10.07

World Zone 2 up to 250g £10.39

Whenever possible your jewellery will be dispatched within 5 working days from receipt of order.  If your order cannot be dispatched within that time, I will contact you.

Jewellery prices stated exclude postage costs.


Payment methods are as follows: • Credit / Debit Cards or through your PayPal account.


Debit / Credit Card with PayPal Payments. Just click on the Buy Now button where you will be guided through placing your order by Paypal. You do not have to be a registered PayPal user to pay this way, just select to pay by credit/debit card. 

What is PayPal? PayPal is a third party payment processor, which enables online Credit and Debit card payments. It is a secure system which has over 20 million registered users. 

How do I use PayPal? Add your items to the shopping basket, you will be guided through placing your order by Paypal.

Payment by Cheque

If you would prefer to make payment via cheque rather than via Paypal please make your cheques payable to Anne Soutry Jewels and Hats. Please remember to include the necessary postage and packing value.  Orders will be dispatched when the cheque is cleared.

Returns and Refunds

Please remember that Freshwater Pearls and Genuine Gemstones may differ in size and colour due to their organic nature and may therefore appear different from the website images. We make every effort to publish realistic images but colour reproduction is not always accurate. Fortunately the items are invariably much more vibrant in real life!

We hope that you will be delighted with your special item of jewellery but if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase you may return it within 30 days of receipt. Anne Soutry Jewels & Hats will provide a full refund of the item. Please indicate if you would prefer a refund to your credit card or a replacement of the item. 

You must return the goods in the condition in which they were supplied to you and please make sure that you use an insured delivery method. The cost of your item will be refunded but not postage costs.  Please contact us by email – anne.soutry@jewelsandhats.com – before posting so that we know to expect the returned item. We reserve the right to reject an order if we suspect that a customer is taking advantage of our returns policy. Please make special note that due to hygiene reasons earrings cannot be returned unless faulty.

Bespoke and commissioned items cannot be refunded unless faulty as consultation throughout the design process will have taken place.

No changes to style or measurements can be made once the jewellery has been dispatched.  

Re-modelling or re-stringing of an item of jewellery may be possible at the discretion of Anne Soutry Jewels & Hats and will be subject to an agreed charge. 

You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch.

HATS

Every hat, fascinator or head band is individually made and the images on the website are examples of what can be created. The finished product will be the result of a close collaboration between me, you and your requirements and will result in a truly unique piece of millinery.  Pricing is calculated on an individual basis and after discussion with the client.   

Bespoke and commissioned items cannot be refunded as consultation throughout the design process will have taken place.

Postage and Packaging for Hats and Fascinators

Each hat or fascinator is carefully wrapped in tissue and is supplied in a box.

Collection by appointment from Anne Soutry Jewels & Hats is encouraged. Please contact Anne Soutry to arrange collection time and location.

Alternatively, the parcel can be sent by Parcelforce. Postage costs will vary according to size of package.
